Increasing our general knowledge does not automatically increase our intellectual acuity. We must always be aware of how the dark powers — as you said — simply take advantage of our complacency to advance their own agenda. Over the years, I’ve come to feel that the smarter I got, the stupider I felt, because it took me so long to figure out the truth concerning evil powers.
Given the rising rate of lethal Christian persecution in the Middle East, Africa and Asia as well as the ever increasing ostracism and hatred faced by Christians in the West, the time when faith will once again become a matter of life and death for Christians may not be as far away as some believe.
